Developer NL Development has won the ‘Amsterdamse Nieuwbouwprijs’ 2025 for the Amstelkwartier project! As NIBC Bank we are proud to have provided construction financing for this remarkable development.

In an online poll hosted by Amsterdam Woont, Amstelkwartier captured the hearts of Amsterdam residents, securing the most votes!

Amstelkwartier features 55 spacious apartments and townhouses in the mid-range rental segment, catering to a diverse range of residents—from starters to families. The development also includes a daycare center with a roof garden playground.

The building's design is striking, with an entrance set back allowing upper floors to overhang. Additionally, a triangular courtyard on the roof of the sunken parking garage offers a unique space for residents. The building is very sustainable and nature-inclusive, producing more energy than it consumes.

The ‘Amsterdamse Nieuwbouwprijs’ is a public accolade celebrating new developments in the city. Organized by Amsterdam Woont, in collaboration with the Municipality of Amsterdam, AT5, and Bouwend Nederland, this annual event highlights outstanding contributions to the urban landscape.
