NIBC Bank strengthens partnership with International Campus Group to fund ‘Fascinatio’ Student Housing project
NIBC Bank is proud to announce the expansion of its partnership with International Campus Group through the financing of Project Fascinatio, a student housing initiative in Capelle aan den IJssel. Strategically located just five minutes from Erasmus University, this ambitious project is set to significantly enhance the availability of student accommodation in the area.
About the Project
Project Fascinatio will see the development of 342 self-contained student apartments, covering a gross floor area of approximately 11,150 square metres, with 6,930 square metres available for rent. These apartments are designed to offer more than just living space, providing access to a range of shared amenities such as a fitness centre, communal kitchen, study rooms, recreational areas, laundry facilities, and a rooftop terrace. The project is committed to high sustainability standards, achieving an A++ energy label.
Construction Timeline
Construction will be managed by contractor Waal, starting at the end of August 2025 and expected to be completed by the summer of 2027.
This development is the result of a joint venture between Groep Caenen Capital Fund, White House Development, and Rom, who have collaboratively crafted a concept and design that address the evolving housing needs of students.
A Sustainable Partnership
Following our successful financing of previous student housing projects like The Fizz Utrecht and The Fizz Leiden, NIBC Bank is delighted to continue its collaboration with International Campus Group, a leading investor, developer, and landlord of student accommodation.
Kishan Binda, NIBC Bank, comments: “We are grateful to International Campus Group for their ongoing trust in NIBC Bank. Our partnership has flourished over the years, and we eagerly anticipate working together towards a sustainable and promising future.”
