NIBC has provided a loan to CVC DIF to support the acquisition of two Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) assets, totaling 756 beds, across Edinburgh and Glasgow. The assets are located in two popular university cities, experiencing a structural undersupply of quality student accommodations.
Both properties benefit from nomination agreements with leading universities and have demonstrated strong operational track record with historically high levels of occupancy and affordable rooms.
The acquisition marks a strategic expansion of CVC DIF’s student accommodation platform, Ottoway Portfolio Holdings, bringing its total UK beds under management over 5,000. This underscores CVC DIF’s commitment to scaling its presence in the PBSA sector across key academic hubs.
